Stowed LLC
Terms of Service
Draft for pilot use — subject to legal and compliance review.
Effective date: October 20, 2026
These Terms govern your use of InsureMyStuff.ai, operated by Stowed LLC, based in Miami, Florida. By using the service you agree to these Terms. Applicable statutory consumer rights are not waived.
1. The service
InsureMyStuff.ai provides software for organizing records of watches and fine jewelry, creating Asset Passports, storing related files, and managing optional subscription features. It currently offers an insurance-request demonstration workflow, not a live insurance-placement service.
2. Accounts and permitted use
Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and contact founder@stowed.io if you suspect unauthorized access. Upload only material you own or are authorized to use. Do not upload unlawful content, impersonate another person, interfere with security, or misuse another person's personal information. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.
3. Asset Passports, files, and AI
You retain your rights in the information and files you submit. You grant us permission to process that content only to operate the service you request — including storage, display, export, support, and AI analysis when you choose it — as described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for checking and correcting item details and for keeping independent copies of important documents. An Asset Passport is not proof of ownership, authenticity, title, condition, value, or insurability. Values you enter are user-declared and are not professional appraisals.
AI output may be incorrect. AI suggestions are not authentication, proof of ownership, valuation, insurance advice, or a determination of eligibility. Uploading or analyzing a photograph never activates insurance coverage.
4. Not an insurance carrier
InsureMyStuff.ai is operated by Stowed LLC and is not an insurance company. We do not provide insurance quotes or coverage. Insurance, where available, is provided by licensed third-party insurance partners and is subject to eligibility, underwriting and policy terms. Taking a photo or creating a record does not activate coverage. InsureMyStuff.ai is not an insurance carrier; coverage is subject to approval by licensed insurance providers.
The software does not itself issue an insurance policy, determine premiums, underwrite a risk, bind coverage, or guarantee that a provider will accept an item. No website status or Asset Passport should be treated as an insurance policy or proof of coverage.
A subscription purchases software access, not insurance. You can request insurance independently of purchasing a subscription. Insurance premiums are never processed through our software-subscription checkout. Cancelling or changing a software subscription does not cancel or modify any insurance policy you may separately hold.
5. Demonstration workflow and future partners
Until an executed licensed-partner agreement and compliance-approved workflow are in place, the insurance integration remains a synthetic demonstration. Demonstration references, statuses, and results are not insurer-issued quotes, real applications, or coverage, and no request is sent to an insurer.
Before any real partner workflow is enabled, the partner will be identified and your separate consent obtained for the specific information shared. Actual coverage can arise only through the licensed provider's approved process and policy documentation.
6. Subscription plans and billing
The current monthly software plan prices are:
- Personal — $19.99/month
- Household — $39.99/month
- Private Vault — $99.00/month
Insurance is separate from these prices. Plan features and item limits are shown in the service and may be adjusted; changes to limits do not reduce the access of existing subscribers during their current paid period.
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. Checkout discloses the price, billing frequency, and renewal terms before you accept.
7. Changes, cancellation, and refunds
You can change plans or cancel at any time through the billing page or the Stripe customer portal. Plan changes are prorated through Stripe. Cancelling ends renewal at the end of the current subscription period, and you retain access through that period.
Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law; if you believe a charge was made in error, contact founder@stowed.io and we will review it. If you downgrade to a plan with a lower item limit, your existing records are not deleted, but you cannot add new items beyond the new limit.
Deleting your app account does not cancel a recurring Stripe subscription — cancel in billing before deletion, or contact support for help.
8. Privacy and record deletion
The Privacy Policy describes information processing, service providers, optional analytics, AI analysis, and privacy requests. Account export and deletion tools do not necessarily cover every file, backup, consent, request-history, audit, or third-party record.
9. Availability, errors, and legal rights
The service and AI output may contain errors or be unavailable. Do not rely on them as a substitute for professional appraisal, legal advice, insurance advice, or your provider's policy documentation. The service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law, and nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
10. Contact and changes
For support, billing questions, or legal inquiries, email founder@stowed.io. Our initial-response target is within 3 business days.
If we make material changes to these Terms, we will update this page and provide notice where legally required. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance, except where applicable law requires explicit consent.
