How to submit a request

From photo to submitted request

About five minutes. Free, optional, and no subscription needed.

1. 1Add the item to your VaultSign in, then tap Add item. Your iPhone camera opens, or pick photos you already took. We suggest the brand, model and details — you edit them before saving.
2. 2Fill in what you knowSerial number, purchase date and the value you declare. Add a receipt or appraisal if you have one. The Documentation score on the item shows what's still missing.
3. 3Open the item and tap Explore insuranceIt's the box under “Would you like to explore insurance for this item?” It's optional, free, and you don't need a subscription to use it.
4. 4Choose the partner and add your contact detailsPick the insurance partner, then enter your name, email and phone number. The phone number is optional.
5. 5Tick both consent boxes, then Submit to partnerNothing about your item — and nothing about you — is shared until you tick those two boxes yourself.
6. 6Watch for updates on the same pageStatus changes and any note from the partner appear under Insurance request on that item. You can withdraw the request there at any time.
